Monday to go

MONDAY TO GO HANGAR

07 March 2017

In Amsterdam North we spot really cool place with an astonishing interior. We give away two things: there are lots of palm trees and the roof is made of corrugated sheets. Yes, we are talking about Hangar.

This idilic atmosphere underneath a corrugated roof is the concept of styling expert Stella Willing. We see palm trees everywhere: one giant golden palm tree, on the logo there are palm trees and also on the dinnerware. She used a lot of green and copper shades in her design and we also saw a lot of Scotch Collectables. It looks absolutely stunning.

But we didn’t just go there to look. They also have a great menu. The food on the menu is seasonal and the menu changes every six weeks. We have our favorite dishes sorted out for you:

-Tabouleh Salad with roasted carrots

-Risotto with wild mushrooms

-fries made of organic potatoes

-Chocolate cake with hazelnut ice cream

-Mozzarella & wild tomatoes

Hangar is the perfect place for your Saturday afternoon. Special tip from Monday: I wish I was a cheesecake. That’s the name of the best dessert.
